Tilting Tree

Lost in my family tree
Changes every day.
Things are not the same,
And there's nothing I can say.

I don't know what to do
When faced with others' pain.
My family tree is choked.
I want it free again.

But all I can do is sit
As a branch separately
And realize only the roots
Can sustain the entire tree.
