Getting Through With a Prayer

Here I go again in this neverending circle.
You know it's true that life's unpredictable.
And often, so often, a curveball comes my way.
That is the reason that I'm glad I can pray.

I ask for guidance in my prayers
And wait for the feelings He often shares. 
I wait for the thoughts to enter my mind,
or the swelling in my heart when I'm able to find

The answers I seek or the courage to do
The things that I need and the strength to get through.
The comfort and peace I know can be there
When I seek God's help, in my own quiet prayer.
