Stars

Twinkling in the night sky like glinting diamonds in the light
They shine for me and shine for you and lighten up the darkened night.
Constant in my line of vision never needing a revision
Their different paths across the sky make pictures up so high.
And stars are always there, sprucing up the dark and bare.
Stars like pinholes in the black…glints of heaven beckoning us back.
